My goal as your hair removal professional.

Almost everyone has some facial or body hair that they would like to have removed. Other methods of hair removal can actually worsen hair growth problems by stimulating previously inactive hair follicles. In electrolysis, we are selective and remove only the problem hairs, therefore, not affecting the normal fine hairs. My goal, at Delicate Electrolysis is to make you more confident about your appearance. I am Sharon L. Grier, RE, CPE. As Registered and Internationally Board Certified Electrologist, I am dedicated to both Effectiveness and Comfort by using the most modern techniques and equipment to eliminate my clients unwanted hair.

Services

Electrolysis can be done almost anywhere on the body. It requires a series of treatments to achieve permanence. It is done by inserting a very fine filament of wire, called a probe that is pre-sterilized and disposable, into the follicle and next to the hair shaft. The machine then works to eliminate the hair germinating cells after which the hair is removed without any resistance therefore without any tweezing sensation. Electrolysis can be done utilizing Alternating Current (AC), Direct Current (DC), or a combination of both AC and DC.

The method that uses AC is called Thermolysis, and the method that uses DC is called Galvanic. Another method combining both AC and DC is called The Blend. All methods will destroy the hair germinating cells but they will accomplish this differently. With AC, a minute amount of heat causes a tiny cauterization. With DC the saline in the follicle is chemically changed and this in turn causes the destruction of the hair germinating cells. The Blend does just as it's name implies and blends both methods together.

At Delicate Electrolysis I perform all methods, dependent upon which will produce the best results and be the most comfortable for you. With your help I will determine which method is best to use. I don't do a treatment on you but with you.
